Unable to comment in some discussions

Hi there, I am using Windows 7/Firefox and this thing has happened twice to me now:

I get to a discussion. I type a reply into the window, but there is no button to submit the reply. I've tried hitting "enter" just in case that would do anything, but that only does its job to jump me down a line. This has never happened to me before. Might it have something to do with the new beta layout?

PS the Post Discussion button (when it appears) appears at the top of the Troubleshooting window, but at the bottom of the General Discussion window. Just an observation.

Thank you!

UPDATE It appears that the post button sometimes decides to appear if I click inside of the editing window a couple of times.

Hmm. That's strange. Can you post a screenshot? (Just to visualize) Thanks :)

You're welcome. So That's what you were saying about the "New beta layout". I don't have that yet.

I added the color around the boxes to make them stand out from one another a little better. ^_^

Do you know if you are replying to the top post, a response, or does it not matter? Also can you tell me what browser you're using?

Hi bchan, thanks for the reply!

It doesn't seem to matter where I'm replying. I'm on Windows7/Firefox.

Just now, the button without any extra clicking. First time in a while, so I'm wondering if it's fixed at this point. I'll post an update if it starts playing hide and go seek again.

I added a fix earlier today, but let me know if you see it again ~ thanks for the report!

Will do! Thanks!

Clicking inside the editing window does the trick. Sorry for replying to an old discussion :) but if it's been 2 years and some users like myself runs into this problem I think it's necessary to be addressed.
