Tree of Gold (El Arbol de Oro)

Finished my tree today! (Finally) No congrats from Duolingo? Isn't the object (other than learning Spanish) to make the tree gold or did I miss something?

Regardless, big thanks Duolingo! This has been an awesome experience. I would welcome anyone's input on more fun ways to continue learning Spanish. Thanks in advance...

You will get a Congrats screen if you finish it on the website, but not with an Android or ipad ap (I was also disappointed not to see a finisher's screen). You can still view the finisher's screen on the website by clicking on the golden owl at the bottom of the screen.

HI Marco, You might want to try French. My mother was fluent in French, moved to CA and neighbor spoke only Spanish. She was fluent in Spanish in 6 month. Said "I had no idea that it was so similar. I had 2years of Spanish years ago but do not remember much. I speak French and Chinese. All parents, grandparents spoke French. (from Maine originally) Great grandparents emigrated to US about 150 years ago. I have been relearning my home language and have finished the tree. what fun. Now must practice more. Bonne chance. ( Good luck) Ps The bottom figure should light up .Jane

Have you begun watching movies and TV shows in Spanish? Or reading books, or finding a friend? Haha those are the easiest ways to practice the language!
