I am just wondering why there is not an afrikaans course? even smaller languages like danish and norwegian are duolingo?

Good point, Craigory25. I would like to see it too, even if it's from Afrikaans from Dutch rather than from English

I've no-idea why people are disliking this post, there is literally nothing wrong with the question, anyway duolingo have to have enough contributors to the course because you need a few people to do it and the language has to be sustainable ( enough people have to want to take the course)- maybe you can put in a request?

User based community. There needs to be Afrikaan -English speakers who are fluent and a demand for the language.
