Language settings, any help?

Hello everyone,

I am learning Italian and when I have to translate things I have to translate it to English, but my native language is Portuguese and I would like to learn Italian using Portuguese instead of English. I tried to change the settings but I couldn't find it anywhere. I logged in my mom's account and her profile is all in Portuguese, I don't really know why mine is in English but I can't change it for some reason. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Hi there! If you go to 'Settings', then 'Learning Language', then 'See All Language Courses', change the 'I speak __' to 'I speak Portuguese'. Then simply look for the Italian course. Hope this helps! :)

Edit: I just checked, and it seems that the 'Italian for Portuguese Speakers' course has not come out yet, nor is there is "Portuguese for Italian Speakers'. Sorry about that.

Oh yes! I just checked it too, it is OK! I am fluent in English too! But the only reason I thought it would be more helpful was that some words in Italian when they are in plural they are female or male just like in Portuguese... for example in portuguese: as gatas and os gatos and in english: the cats for both

Thanks for your help!
