There seems to be other suppliers as well as the big South American river for Welsh dragon toys and similar. There shouldn't be any difficulty in getting a sweet little mascot.

That is pretty awesome! I might learn some Welsh just for fun even though I never would've thought of learning it if it weren't for Duolingo. But that is what I love about Duolingo. It might cheer me up about going back to school as well. The Welsh team have worked very hard and fast it is amazing.

Welsh and Irish are from two different branches of the Celtic family. Expect it to be very different. There is an example here a few paragraphs down.

What MrNorse said is correct, but for what it's worth they share some features like initial mutations and verb-initial sentence structure that are unusual among European languages, but common for Celtic languages.

So knowing one helps a little, at least with getting your head around the concepts.
