Translation:A plane is in the sky. A car is on the ground.
Why should "A plane in the sky. A car on the ground." be considered wrong? If it is wrong, how would this phrase be written in Ukrainian?
"The car is on the Earth." "The car is on the earth."
Are those not phrased "Машина на землі?" How are those sentences translated?
That said, "The car is on the ground," is definitely the best translation in my opinion. Just curious.
For sure! Moreover, it's the only one grammatically correct option. In a situation when you need to choose "у" or "в" between two consonants, the voval "у" is the only correct variant.
