Mis Medi is literally "the month of reaping".
Yes; or put another way, 'harvest':
Quick trick: If you put ?medi after the address, you can link directly to that word: http://geiriadur.ac.uk/gpc/gpc.html?medi
Haven't worked out how to link to subdivisions yet though.
Thanks! I suspected there should be a way.
Ah! Didn't know that that worked. Thanks!
Yeah, I learnt it from the University of Wales Dictionary Twitter feed: https://twitter.com/geiriadur. It's worth following. You can learn a lot from it.
A bit of etymological info that helped me remember this word: Medi, meaning harvest, comes from the same Indo-European root as meadow, where you go for the harvest in September :)
I never realised the connection with English meadow (or mow). That's really cool. Diolch!
I can't put in abbreviations
I am pretty sure the voice said "YM mis Medi", and answer was marked as wrong.
