Do Region 2 DVDs, Zone B BluRay Have German Audio?

I got a multi-region BluRay player for Christmas to help learn German. If I buy a Region 2 DVD or a Zone B BluRay movie (something I've seen already like Avengers or Dark Knight etc.), do they usually have German audio (and subtitles)? I really want to find movies that I am already familiar with and watch them in German or at least with German subtitles.

In general, you can't be sure that Region 2 DVDs have German audio. For example, the Disney movies rarely have a European release, they have individual releases for the major European countries. German Disney DVDs typically have German, Turkish, Arabic or/and Italian audio, which are presumably the most frequent languages among German children. I also own a lot of UK releases which have nothing but English on them.

Always check the dvd in particular. Some european dvds include three or four various dubbings (and the language combinations are not always the same by far, even though there are some more common groups together), but some include only one dubbing + original.

In general... [my generalization deleted, because having looked at territrades' comment I now believe it was inaccurate]. For a specific release, it's fairly easy to check the language provision online. For instance, looking at the page for the greatest film ever made, you can scroll down a little and find:

Sprache: Deutsch (Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo), Deutsch (Stereo), Englisch (Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo), Englisch (Stereo), Spanisch (Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo), Spanisch (Mono)
Untertitel: Englisch, Deutsch, Spanisch, Türkisch, Schwedisch, Niederländisch, Dänisch, Finnisch

On the other hand, this region 2 UK import of Brief Encounter (1945) is in English only (although you can find other releases of the same film with German audio and subtitles).
