I got a 5.0 out of 5.0 on the Spanish Progress Quiz - but I know I missed some questions
I know I didn't get them all correct. I wish Duolingo would show me the actual results from each question, which would help me improve. I am glad to get the score - I got a 4.5 last time. I just wish I knew what it meant.
It means that you know what Duo teaches. You don't need to get 100% to get a 5/5. The test is for evaluation, not instruction. You have earned the equivalent of an A in the course, time to move on. ;)
I'll move on when I reach Level 25. I earned the equivalent of an A on that test. The course is still teaching me new things, even though I finished the tree some time ago.
You have the right idea, as long as reaching level 25 means continuing to learn, not just running up a point total.
Are there people who just want to run up a point total?? You are level 23, what are you learning at that level? Are you doing the reverse tree?
Yes, there are all sorts of people for whom levels, even trees, are little more than game/contest. That is what causes problems on immersion, people trying to gain points rater than contribute in meaningful ways. I am not sure how I got to level 23. ;) I have not earned points for months, finished the tree maybe a year or so ago, dabble around here, answering questions, but do my more serious "Spanish stuff" apart from Duolingo.
You mind sharing what you are doing? I found a website with a bunch of TV shows dubbed in spanish so that is what i've been up to.
