Patagonian Welsh / Cymraeg y Wladfa
Beyond a BBC documentary I found, is there much in the way of documented language and culture literature on the dialect(s) of Welsh spoken in Patagonia Argentina and how they differ/have evolved from the dialects of native speakers in Wales? What features exist that set it/them apart?
I can't name anything certain but Patagonian welsh will have fewer English loan words but will definitely have some Spanish loan words which the welsh spoken in Wales won't have. Also the pronunciation will differ at least a little due to the accent which will also have Spanish influences.
