Documentaries on the Welsh Language

Hello everyone! I'm enjoying the Welsh course. I watched these two documentaries a while back. They look at the use of Welsh within schools in Wales but they are also very interesting to watch and learn more about Cymraeg in general.

One thing I found very interesting was one young girl whose first language is Welsh. Her accent doesn't sound like an English accent. It sounds foreign because it is a natural Welsh language accent! I hope that makes sense, I know there is a Welsh accent in the English language as well. You might see what I mean if you watch it! :)

If anyone has any further links to documentaries on Welsh please share! :)

Both these are excellent! Lucy Owen did a 30 min programme about her son's future in Welsh medium education this week - it's in the iPlayer: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b06zcxc4/welsh-or-english-lucy-owens-big-school-dilemma
