Can anyone help me to have a conversation in dutch.Because all the phrases I am learning aren't helping and they are just weird. If someone could respond with a modeled conversation I would appreciate that.
Duolingo isn't really intended to teach you phrases. It's supposed to teach you the basics of the language, so that you can construct your own sentences. The weird phrases are there to make you practice this, and to make you think about the language itself.
Once you are along a bit further and have some foundation, it's best to supplement Duolingo with other sources.
However, if you are just looking to memorize a few useful things before your vacation to the Netherlands, then this might not be the right platform. Better google for a Dutch phrasebook.
Hallo, ❤❤❤ gaat het met je?
You should try the book 'Dutch for dummies'. It is not perfect either, but they have more examples with sentences and dialogues, as you want. It is a good complement for Duolingo, but if you have the chance to practice with other people, it is always better.
Try my course on Memrise. It's conversation-focused. Don't worry if you haven't used Memrise before. It's free.
I just had it corrected by a native speaker too. So it should be pretty accurate. ^_^
