Question About Sentence Subject.

Hi

I have been looking at this sentence, "i morgon jag ska studerar". I guess the subject is 'tomorrow I will'.

However I thought the subject would be just i morgon, so the sentence would be 'i morgon studerar ska jag'.

Can anyone explain where I am going wrong, I am having some difficulties figuring out when the subject ends and therefore were to place the verb in the sentence.

Thanks

Your sentence should be I morgon ska jag studera. The subject is jag, the verb is ska and is in second place. The first part of the sentence, i morgon, is a time adverbial.

Ok thanks. I thought the original sentence looked a bit wrong.

I am wondering why Studera is not a verb also, could you explain please?

It's a verb, but it's in the infinitive, so it doesn't show time and the V2 rule (the rule that says the verb must go in second place) refers to the verbs that do show time.
