Reverse tree - Using a different language

I have been learning Spanish from English (which is not my native tongue). However, for the reverse tree I thought it would be a good idea to do for my native language (German).

This is a real challenge! I'm failing to translate the easiest Spanish sentences into my mother tongue.

Are there any others here who do the reverse tree in another language than they used to learn Spanish?

I didn't know there was a reverse tree option! How do you do it?:)

You go to settings and switch your original language. For example to Spanish (what I did as I'm learning Spanish)

Then Duolingo switches to Spanish, and you can chose courses for Spanish native speakers. In my case, I chose German which means that I pretend to be a Spanish native speaker who tries to learn German.

This is what is called "reverse tree".
