It would be nice if contributors made posts about how to be a contributor.
Hello, I think it is a good idea, I know there are people in duolingo who speak a language that is not in duolingo but don't know how to become a contributor of that language, and people who want to learn a language that is not in duolingo, don't know what to do in order to see that course, maybe if a language would be so popular in duolingo, then native speakers would want to contribute to a course, I made this post in order to let you know an opinion, tell me what you think about it, thanks for reading.
I've always thought of this too. I wanted to make a post after being a contributor myself. But sadly, the Polish team didn't accept me (I'm 100% Polish), and I don't know any other languages fluent to be one, so sadly I couldn't make a helpful post about this. One day, I'm sure one of our helpful contributors will make one for the benefit of our Duolingo community.
Maybe by making this post popular(by having so many likes up) this post is going to be more useful ;)
There's a formal application process and I'm pretty sure it's written up somewhere on the website. Does anyone know where it is? I went looking for it and couldn't find it.
