Yok. Türkiye'de seksen milyon kadar kişi var bence.

Just went to Wikipedia, looks like you are right - 79,463,663 at the 2016 census. I'm not sure when they created this course though!

Avustralya'da yirmi dört milyon kişi var :)

Avustralyalı neden Türkçe öğreniyor? Türkiye'de yaşıyor musun veya çalişyor musun? (Hope you don't mind me asking, I'm just happy I can already ask such things in Turkish :D )

What is wrong with my translation? "Turkey has seventy six million people" Why is it wrong?

word order in english is less important here. there are in turkey, seventy six million people. should be accepted, you are stressing in this way, that it is turkey that you are talking about, perhaps, rather than another country

Are the sentences:

Turkiyede yetmiş altı milyon "insan" var

Turkiyede yetmiş altı milyon "biri" var

Correct or??
