Знакомство и общение на английском!!!
Hello everybody! I am from Kazakhstan. Have you heard anything about my country?
Yes! Kazakhstan's President, Nursultan Nazarbaev, studied in Dneprodzerzhinsk, Ukraine. I have a neighbor Kazakh. He is good guy.
Yes! I am from the U.S. and am quite interested in Kazakhstan. Do you live in Astana, Almaty, or elsewhere? Давай на друзья)
Hello! I'm from Almaty. It is ex-capital of the Republic of Kazakhtsan. We also call it south capital. where do you originaly from?
I from the West coast of the United States)) How is Almaty? I have seen beautiful pictures of mountains and forest in Eastern Kazakhstan not far from Almaty. Kazakhstan is so cool) I am also really impressed with the new capital, Astana. It looks amazing....! Just curious, but do you also know Kazakh in addition to Russian?
I am surprised that you know a lot about Kazakhstan. Usualy people think that in Kazakhstan we still use camels to travel and liave in tents :)
You right we have very beautiful mountains!
I can speak kazakh language, but I am not good at it. Probably it is because I am not Kazakh.
so where are you originaly from? Form Moscow?
Camels!:D lol, really? People think that? Kazakhstan is pretty modern. I'm originally from the United States and am living there now:) Just curious, but is it necessary to know both Kazakh and Russian in Kazakhstan, like for school and jobs? I know Russian is usually dominant in Urban areas, but since Kazakh is an official language, do you have to study it in school?
Yes, it is funny) But people thinks so In Kazakhstan we have two official languages, Russian and Kazakh. You now, Kazakhstan is very big country, and in some regions, mainly near Russian Fediration, Russion language dominates and you can comunicate easly only on this language, but there are some regions people speak mainly on Kazakh. In big cityes like Almaty and Astana kazakh language not neccessery but it is big advantage if you know it. So you can come to Alamaty)
It is very diverse) I'd rather visit Kazakhstan than France, Germany, and Spain combined.... One day I will at least get to Astana and hopefully farther South East to Almaty)) So did you study Kazakh in school and what level of knowledge in the language are you required to have in order to work jobs? Is mostly based upon region? For Example, in Canada, French is an official language, but less than 50% of people speak it fluently (except in (Québec). Would you say this is a similar situation for Kazakhstan? When you work are you ever required or find it necessary to speak Kazakh?
I'm from Ukraine. My native languages are russian and ukrainian. I study english now.
My name is Muhammad! I am from Mosсow. In Moscow many Kazakhs and Ukrainians
Is everybody here from Russia?* You can't always change the word order in English.
I just don't like giving it out online for all to see.... Yeah, staying awake way to late when you really should be in another time zone is the best)) Is it about 4:00 am there?
Hm... Okay) Interesting... Mayby later. I wrote about 5.00 am) I see you learn Russian. So... For what are you do that? Russian language are difficult, I think.
Why do you do that* The Russian language is spoken by over 200 million people world wide and in some of my favorite places, Russia, Central Asia, and else where in Eastern to Central Europe. I just really like the Slavic languages in general and Russian has the most speakers and opportunity. Yes, Russian is difficult, but not as difficult as say Hungarian or Korean. Was English hard for you to learn? I've heard that it is relatively easy for Russian native speakers.
(*)So you correct the errors, isn't it?) I think, our(rus.) language is difficult for us. How you learn the language?! I dont know) I have a friend, she knows Japanese language and works as a translator. It is real difficult and is impossible for me. She is my hero. English is the international language, and we must know it, but it is hard to think in English)) My brain thinks in Russian) Now in our country we have many your songs, cinema... We can see and listen your culture, and is not very hard to learn your language(i think it is not write correct). "Slavic" it is funny name for language. We have real name Slava and abbreviated it is Slavik;)... Ugh... It is hard to write))) Now in Moscow 4.27 am)
For me, it's not too hard to think in Russian)) English is hard, even for native speakers, because it is so diverse and sometimes illogical. I would say English is difficult to speak 100% correctly. The reason English may seem easy is because of so many movies in English. It's like you could never run out of things to watch, ever..... Also, you'll pick the language up pretty fast. The word "Slavic" is a term for a group/family of languages that are related to Russian. Slavic languages include: Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Serbian, Czech, Bulgarian, etc. Yes, writing a language is hard. I'm usually afraid that I will make a mistake in Russian when I write it. Do you want me to correct your mistakes?
Here are my correction. I hope that they help))
So you correct errors, don't you? How do you learn the language? I have a friend that knows Japanese/the Japanese language... .....we have many of your songs and cinema. (I think that it is not written correctly) Slavic is a funny name for a language We have a real name, Slava... I am in Moscow now at 4:27 am
"The reason English may seem easy is because of so many movies in English. It's like you could never run out of things to watch, ever....." - I do not quite understand the sentence(( Are you scold me? Or not... When I open my eyes now, I to go to DouLingo to look comments and start to thinking my answers in English ) Ofcourse you can do to correct me! I whant to say you, thank you! You are a native English, and you understend me! It is cool)) When i was a child, I was very shy to speak English. Are you want to write to me in Russian?) About word" Slavic", I understand what is it) Just is a realy funny name in Russian)
I am not scolding you...XD I am sorry if it seemed that way(( I was only remarking on the great wealth of resources to your advantage. Yeah, I don't mind mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes so it's completely normal) I do when I write in Russian. We're all in the same boat (English expression meaning we're all in this together.) when learning a foreign languages. It can make one nervous especially when you find yourself having to speak with a native in person. Have you spoken with many native English speakers in person?
Oh, sorry... I dont write a long time. I think you dont understand everything my sentences. But, Okay) I am learning) I spoke with Europeans. But they are not an native speakers English language. And usualy we understand each other) But I didn't wrote never before anyone. You are first) "It can make one nervous especially when you find yourself having to speak with a native in person" - and I am afraid to get on such a person(( 'We're all in the same boat' - I know this saying!) We lern it at school) Okay... Will you write me in Russian?) I can answer to you in English)
Не проблема) я понимаю большиство предлажение что вы напишите. В мой мнение, кажется что это будет десять лет до я знаю Русский язык отлично. А как вы видите, я не очен хорошо пишу на русском....Прощайте меня для ошибки. А изучаете ли вы другие языки? Вижу что вы учите Французский языке на Дуолинго. Кстати, исправьте мои ошибки пожалуйста. Спасибо)
When I look movies, I hear the word - "awesome". Is it an American word?) In Russian translation it is a vague expression. Is it very cool, or terribly?!
Я не бы сказал что это Американское слово, на Английское слово. Думаю что на русском это как скажание (сказать) слово "классный." Да, это значит "very cool" но лучше. Хотя, если вы спашиваете Британский человек, может быт он будет сказать что Американские исползоваем слово "awesome" слишком много. А как всегда, мне нравится когда русскоговорящих исползавают меня. знаю что я пишу немного плохо. Ну, я нигогда учил русский в школе.....
Wow! You are very cool write in Russian!!) I understand you) It is great;) Well, Russian doesn't know most of the Russian people;) It is sad, but it is true. Yes, I want try to study Franch. I am allways thinking that is the most beautiful language in Earth)) Okay...: "Не проблема) я понимаю большинство предложений что вы пишите. Мне кажется, что пройдет десять лет до того как я выучу русский язык на отлично. А как вы видете, я не очень хорошо пишу на русском....Извините меня за ошибки. А изучаете ли вы другие языки? Вижу что вы учите Французский язык на Дуолинго. Кстати, исправьте мои ошибки пожалуйста. Спасибо)" Almost everithing right!
Спасибо! Так, не много Русские знают русский язык очен хорошо? Не понимал предложение "Well Russian doesn't know most of the Russian people." Думаю что это верно пишать "The Russian language is not well known to the Russian people." Французский язык очен красивый, особено французские песни и музыка. А если вы знаете Английски язык, это не так трудно читать на фрнанцузском. Например 40% или больше французских слов как на английском, так после изучения французкий язык, я понимал почти всё.
Yes) You are right) In our dictionary the phrase translated the same. So we often change to order words. Now for me to study Franch is not so easy( Especially when I hear the speak.
"Я бы не сказал что это американское слово. Оно английское. Думаю что на русском это как слово - "классный." Да, это значит "very cool", но лучше. Хотя, если вы спросите британца, может быть он скажет что американцы используют слово "awesome" слишком много. И как всегда, мне нравится когда русскоговорящие используют меня. Знаю что я пишу немного плохо. Но я никогда не учил русский в школе....."
"И как всегда, мне нравится когда русскоговорящие используют меня" - The phrase in Russian that sounds very rude. It is better to write: "И мне всегда нравилось обмениваться опытом с русскими"
I understand it) Nothing wrong. It is rude(maybe say - harsh?) not for me. The sentence reads like - "Use me". The fact it is about you.
And I see that you think in english;))) In Russian more a free order of word. But now for you it doesn't matter.
In Russian, the word order is more free.* So, the order of words does matter in Russian a little bit? You can tell I think in English by the way I write?)
"You can tell I think in English by the way I write?" - it is funny sentence) But you can say. We can say: 1. Hello! How are you?; 2. How are you? Hello!; You are how? Hi!... And everything will be right)
Have you the more accaunt? In the Duolingo is difficulty write on my phone( For exemple, I have accaunt in Facebook... I can to write you my full name.
Hi, people! My name is Sofi. I want to learn and speak English. I write correctly? Sorry for the mistake(
