If plejparte means mostly, how would you say most people?

Could I say plejpartaj homoj, or would I have to say plejparto da homoj or maybe even la plejparto el la homoj?

Which, if any, is correct? How would you say it?

Edit:

There is a phrase to translate here on Duolingo that reads:

  • Mi volas la plejparton de la bovloj, ĉar duono de ili ne estas sufiĉa.

Here, "most of the bowls" is translated as "la plejparton de la bovloj", so it seems like "most people" could be translated to "la plejparto de la homoj" (literally: most of the people).

".. mostly loves.. " sounds like an Americanism.

I wouldn't say it an I'm from america. Maybe "sort of loves" or "kind of loves" or "doesn't hate"

I haven't heard anyone in America use that turn of phrase. My instinct was to translate it as "He loves football, for the most part."
