Confused and befuddled. Help needed.

I make corsets and I looked up the welsh word for corset which is "Staes". The problem is that when I look for the plural all that comes up is corsets.

Can anyone help? Is there a plural or is staes one of those words that's both singular and plural at the same time?

Using the Welsh Academy English-Welsh Dictionary (1995) which I have at home, the singular for corset is 'staes', the plural is either 'staesiau' or 'staesys'. 'Staes' is a male noun. You can also use 'corsed' (sing.) and 'corsedau' (pl.). 'Corsed' is also a male noun.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. It's been driving me nuts for two days.
