Hodie in Latin. Anyone know if and how they are related?

The similarity is not coincidental, given that both Latin and Welsh are part of the Indo-European language family, that is, they share a common ancestor, known as Proto-Indo-European.

Great comments guys . Welsh is so lowly regarded especially amongst English (IMHO) ...like me. I got a good feeling when I read about your Indo-European theory and the languages sharing a common basis. I wonder if this commonality of language can be extended outside of this supposed linguistic root...in other words to other cultures / tongues like chinese, arabic, apache, etc.?
