Finished the Swedish Tree!!

Finally! Today I finished my first tree on Duolingo, the Swedish tree! I am so happy. I definitely have put in a lot of work, but I'm only just beginning. I will continue to review until I hit level 25, and practice elsewhere of course.

The Swedish team has been really helpful. All of my questions were answered, and the comment sections were always so detailed and helpful. I cannot wait to start using this beautiful language more, and I will stick around for version 2 of the tree!

Congratulations! I have recently listened to some swedish songs and something changed in the way I felt about it. I didn't seem to enjoy listening to it prior to that and I had no interest in the language but I decided to try it on Duolingo and I'm really enjoying it! The only reason I'm not advanced at the tree yet is because I'm prioritizing Italian since I always wanted to learn it but Swedish is a part of my daily language studies. :)

Out of all the languages I have tried the Swedish one is the best. The team is very active and the discussions and clearly care alot about making it a good tree.

Thank you! And yes, I personally love this language! When I started Duolingo, I had absolutely no interest in learning it, but after a few lessons of just trying it out, I was hooked! It is very similar to English, but different enough. It is so unique. I definitely recommend you to try it out if you are interested!

Thanks. I was looking for a language to do after I finish Spanish to go with German. I want to do Hungarian... but I might do Swedish or Russian.

Of course it helps if you know english.

Swedish is frequently listed as one of the top ten easiest languages for native english speakers to learn.

May I ask you the reason behind your interest for Swedish but also, and that makes me even more curious, for Portuguese? They're such different languages. I'm interested since they're both languages I love.

Well, I just really love Swedish. I can't explain it! My original goal was Icelandic, but I didn't really have the time for it. So I wanted to learn a similar language, and Danish and Norwegian didn't stick with me, and Faroese is almost impossible to find resources for. After awhile, I became hooked on Swedish. I love it more than English, probably.

As for Portuguese, Brazil is my favorite countRy. i would love to live there someday!
