Typically, in Spanish "mujer" means wife when there is a possessive modifying it. For example, "Mi mujer es bonita" is "My wife is pretty", but "La mujer es bonita" means "The woman is pretty" (and not really "the wife is pretty").

If you mean "single" as in "has no boyfriend", then no.
