Because Ddyd Mawrth means Tuesday and Mis Mawrth means March. Am I missing a clue due word origins?
I think it is the name of the planet "Mars", which in Welsh gives its name to both a day of the week and a month. Good luck with your language studies :)
Thanks a lot. I didn't realize that fact.
Also, just as a side note, remember that its "dydd" not "ddyd" (although "ddydd" is also another version taught in the dialects section)
Thanks, I have a hard time remembering how to spell that word.
No problem :)
