Both 24th December and Decembred 24th are in current English use. To mark one as incorrect without reason is ludicros

I agree! You can really tell Duolingo is based in America. "Christmas Eve is on 24th December" is correct, but marked as incorrect by Duolingo. Only Americans puts the day after the month.

This is plain wrong. The only thing I am learning is annoyance with bad programming

No way it should be wrong for spelling out the number !!

American English construction! All forms of English, i.e., European, Australian, New Zealand etc., should be acceptable and the database must be adjusted to allow this change. For example: (the) 24th (of) December. 24 December. December the 24th. December 24th. Etc.

They should add a non-american programmer into the team.

I would have thought they would want you to write out how the number is spelled since this is a Spanish lesson. Any English speaking person can put the number. Although, I suppose this particular lesson is not about numbers. Still, I don't think they should count it wrong for spelling it out.

Agree. Ridiculous to mark 24th December wrong. We aren't all American.

24th December or 24th of December is correct in English. Duolingo is still marking this as wrong.
