What is the difference between hayat and yasam?
Nothing really, especially in this sentence. But stick with hayat, it is much more frequently used and covers every case. Yaşam is more often used in biological context.
Why is "can" wrong in this sentence?
"hayat" is more of a biological term while "can" is a more spiritual one.
I thought it was the opposite. In the soaps I always hear people speaking of life in the abstract sense and they say hayat, hayatım, etc. But then again, they also change the word order to VOS, so what do they know?
' hayatım" is also a pet name for your significant other.
