Using Christmas gifts to my advantage
My mother got me a new video game, and I changed the settings so now I am playing it in French!
It was made in Germany
a wee bit of whisky or Schnappps
Jaegermeister is a medicine so I could put it in there
I do have some Latvian Balsam which is for presents
But considering my Brain Injury I no longer drink Alcohol
a shame because I did like a beer
I'm a minor and will be you're "can't drink even though everybody I know does" buddy.
Brilliant makes me laugh You deserve your lovely Christmas present
enjoy it in French or any language
I'm using the money I received this holday season to help pay for my trip to Mexico in July.
You could also spend $274 on Rosetta Stone. It's the LAST CHANCE for their BEST SALE EVER ;)
If i had money then I would have bought it
but now Duolingo is worth more than all the others put together
I would still like to pay you guys for what you give me. (Ceterum censeo Cartarginem esse delendam.)
But I know. Your Mission is higher than getting rich by teaching millions of people dozens of languages.
Money, money what is money ?
Austerity world now
not to be wasted on Rossettastone
I've changed my phone, Gmail, and Facebook all into French. It's a great way to learn new and interesting vocabulary. It also tests your cognate abilities, which I love.
I changed my keyboard to French and I was so annoyed after a while, because constantly I was closing browser instead of selecting everything on the page (in other words: where in my keyboard there is "a" in French version there is "q", and instead of "ctrl+a" I got "ctrl+q" all the time).
I find using the international keyboard is easier for me than using the Spanish one.
It can also cause dire misunderstandings and sending personal emails to random people, but oh well :D
You can set Minecraft to LOADS of languages - even Pirate - I play in German.
I have like 200 games on Steam and all but a few that I never play anyway support German, so I will definitely be taking advantage of that kind of stuff in the future.
I actually play all my games in German now haha. Skyrim is the most fun in German!
I'm learning Spanish, and i've got small book "Dos adventuras de Sherlock Holmes" (audio-cd included). Any idea how to use it for my Spanish?
Start at the beginning. Read until the end. Consult a bilingual dictionary when necessary.
