"Lia nomo ne estas Sofia."
Translation:His name is not Sofia.
"Mia nomo estas NE! Mia signo estas NE! Mia numero estas NE! Vi bezonas lasi iri!
Jes, it could. This does not change what you say, just how you say it.
that's one of the great things with Esperanto is that you can choose your word order to emphasize what you want in the sentence. there are 6 ways to say I love you in Esperanto my favorite way is vin mi amas
When the original text uses Sophia, then you can use Sofia or Sofio instead.
When the original is Sofia, then probably Sophia is ok,
but when the original is Ivo, then not sure if Ivan or Yves or another first name.
cxu ne, la frazo estas 'MIA nomo estas Jeff'? ankaux, eble la ortografio estus 'gxeff' kiel alternativo? :P
Oy can anybody help me? I bought the esperanto culture content a few days ago, and i have nothing, how can i contact the duolingo support or something like that?
Same case for me. After purchase, it appears as "Equipped" in https://www.duolingo.com/show_store. The evening after purchase, I could enter the "Eo Culture" lesson, but next day is was no more accessible (no clickable icon on my home tab). I informed someone from Duo about the problem, the correction will probably need some time.
