Fast decay rate

Am I the only one who has to come back in every day to refresh this skill?

As much as I loved this at first, the decay rate is driving me nuts. And sometimes instead of a range of the words I need to refresh, it just keeps repeating one or two. Yesterday I got "J'aime boire du chocolat chaud" about 16 times.

lol here is a lingot for your troubles

ooooookay i just had to refresh this skill and i got the word "Mistletoe" and "Santa wears a red coat and black boots" about 20 times.

yes i have exactly the same problem. it could be because words like reindeer or mistletoe don't appear in other lessons at all. my workaround for now is to review individual words instead of doing the module review. you can do so by selecting a word from the list and then click practise

Also I noticed that words for this Christmas module could have been entered as separate entries in Duolingo's dictionary. For example, I'm sure the word père comes up quite often in other modules, but it still appears as one of my weakest word under Christmas.

Is there anyway to unsubscribe / remove this module?

Feedback if this has been fixed. Anyone?

Yes, and I saw lots of sentences I haven't seen when I was refreshing this skill.

Yes, decaying seems to be relatively fast. No new sentences in it for me though.

Nope, me too.

I have also noticed this. I think it is because they are, or at least were for quite a while, still adding new vocabulary to it.

tbh i am taking a bunch of notes, writing down every word i don't know, with definitions and conjugations if necessary, just to review later

And I thought, I was the only one. Besides I have suddenly new words in the practice section and I'm like "Shouldn't that have been in the actual lesson?".

It feels like some words decay at least a bar per day. Plus, when I try to practice the word "jour" I have to translate "Days and days" for at least three out of four questions. There are a bunch of words I haven't learned yet, and I can't even practice the "Christmas Day" meaning. It's driving me crazy.
