Suggestion: Let Us See Mistakes After Finishing Timed Practice
When I'm doing Timed Practice, I want to keep on going, not stop to note what I should practice. I therefore suggest that we be able to see what we got wrong after we complete the session.
I usually do timed practice, so I would love this.
I also wish we would earn a lingot when finishing a timed practice session without losing a heart, just like happens with the non-timed practice, but that has been suggested many, many times and nothing has come of it yet.:(
I agree, it would be nice to have a review of errors once the timed practice has reached the end of the last question.
I don't know if that will ever happen. So, in the meantime, I've tried another strategy: I've headed back to the untimed sessions and gone through them as quickly as possible, really pushing myself. And when I get something wrong, I take the time to look down and check what the correct answer was.
That has been suggested before, and the Duolingo team has already set it up. They haven't released it for everybody though... maybe it'll be included with the new look?
Your comment makes me wonder if there is more than one test group running for the beta layout. My timed practice lacks a review stage.
I actually don't have it, but I know it's somewhere out there because I've seen screenshots.
hrm.. maybe an old thing that didn't pan out? I hope it's something they adopt permanently (or, well at least semi-permanently, DL is not a place to stay the same for very long.) :)
It is one of the hackathon thingies. It has not yet been implemented, as far as I know.
I'd like this for all kinds of timed and untimed practices and lessons. It's especially important in timed practice, though, because if there's something I don't know then I don't have time to learn it but it may be marked as "full strength" afterwards.
