I've just finished this topic - with some really long words! It's good, but I was thinking that given the huge amount of spirituality in Welsh history, as well as today, that this should be greatly expanded. There are all the ancient gods (not to mention the ancient druids), and the festivals - both ancient and modern, as well as modern Christianity and paganism. It could be really interesting, with lots of notes about the cultural and historical aspects. Loads of material to make Spiritual 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ... - maybe more. I know there's probably loads more material you want to include, and it's early days, but perhaps you could take this on board for the next phase?
Sorry, spoke slightly too soon. I've now done the religion topic. However, the above still applies. Religion is very general, and there was no mention of the church/chapel divide, and the importance of chapel in Wales.
Glad you liked Spirituality - I wrote it :) There is a unit for Traditional Holidays which mentions traditional Pagan holidays. Why I didn't think of including a mention to the Druids is beyond me - I don't think they appear in "Religion", neither :( My bad!
Hopefully both will be expanded in tree 2 :)
Yes please. I spent a lot of time among the druids (not literally!) whilst doing my MA in Celtic Studies, so would be interested in seeing them make an appearance. You could also include modern druids - I'm sure there would be a lot of interest. And it would be interesting to know about Samhain, Beltane and the others. And Stonehenge and the other henges:)
