In the definitions for "grilled", "arrosto" is not included. Would this translation more closely mean "roasted pork"?

I think so. I suspect Duolingo got this wrong. According to WordReference.com, grilled = alla griglia / grigliato and roasted = arrosto.

The translation for grilled pork should be "arrosto di maiale". If you google for it or look it up in wiktionary nobody uses "maiale arrosto" http://de.wiktionary.org/wiki/arrosto_di_maiale
