In this lesson I've seen these sentences:

Mae e'n meddwl bod ...

Dw i'n meddwl fod ...

Dw i'n meddwl mod ...

What's the rule of mutation here?

Dw i'n meddwl... (I think that...)

  • ...(fy) mod i'n gyflym (...that I am fast)

  • ...(dy) fod ti'n gyflym (...that you are fast)

  • ...(ei) fod e'n gyflym (...that he is fast)

  • ...(ei) bod hi'n gyflym (...that she is fast)

  • ...bod y plant yn gyflym (...that the children are fast)

  • ...(ein) bod ni'n gyflym (...that we are fast)

  • ...(eich) bod chi'n gyflym (that you are fast)

  • ...(eu) bod nhw'n gyflym (that they are fast)

The (fy) etc in brackets are sometimes dropped in the colloquial language, but the mutations that they cause still remain. Duo should accept keeping them in if you choose to do so, though. (In some dialects and slang it is common for mod/fod/bod to be replaced by bo in all persons.)
