I struggle to hear to correct pronounciations from the voice used and im a fluent welsh speaker already!
That ll gets me every time :/
Castell is Welsh for castle, if that makes it any easier to remember. Then whenever you think about it, you can think of Castell Coch, Castell Caerphilly, Castell Caerdydd, or indeed, Castell Nedd!
I always think it's a th, dd, ch or even s sometimes.
Hehe, great sentence- but I haven't a clue where that is! :D
Should it be "castle neath" then?
No, Neath Castle is Castell Castell-nedd, at least according to Wikipedia.
You're right. And that's a reminder, too, that the correct spelling of the town's name in Welsh is Castell-nedd (with hyphen, small n).
I don't know if I like Neath. I've never been there.
