what's wrong with: roedd hi'n oer, ond mae hi'n boeth nawr?

Both should be fine. Some people would say that poeth is generally a bit hotter than twym, but it doesn't really matter in comparison with oer!

In Cornish, oor is "glacial cold" and pooth is "scorching hot", so they are pretty much opposites :) (And plain "warm/hot" and "cold" are tomm and yeyn.)
