I thought use "cael" when talking about if you wanted something to drink,and the mae "noun" gyda structure, was if you own something.

Cael means to get/Have, so you could say "Dwi'n cael coffi" which would be "I am having coffee", But "I have coffee" would be "Mae gen i goffi" or "Mae coffi gyda fi".
