could this also be taken to mean -" do you want goat?" if there were two menu options a vegetable curry or a goat curry could the caterer say "do you want goat?" so no indefinite article...
Yes. "Dych chi eisiau gafr?" could mean either 'do you want goat?' or 'do you want a goat?'.
