Fluency in Welsh

Hi!!

Isn't there a fluency badge for the Welsh tree? I know that fluency in the Duo badge doesn't really matter, but as I am learning a new language on my own, I feel that it's motivating to have a fluency badge that has a count on the practice one's doing. I don't know why it isn't there but, is it because Welsh is still in beta?

No, only English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Portuguese have fluency scores. No other courses will be getting them.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I can tell you that the fluency indicator isn't very helpful. Pretty much everyone I've come across finds that it doesn't give you much information at all. According to the indicator, I was more fluent in French when I was at level 5 or 6 than I was in German at level 20!

I suppose it might be a motivator as far as practice goes, but I would suggest you focus on leveling up or keeping gold, etc., than wishing you had a fluency meter. :)

That, I do not know! Just what I've heard through the grapevine that is the discussion board.
