St David's Day Google doodle

Obviously this is more related to culture than language, but today's Google doodle celebrates with a Celtic knot, daffs and a little Welsh dragon. Wales enthusiasts will appreciate it, I think :) http://www.google.co.uk

And a happy St David's Day to all :D

edit: just in case anyone is really stuck and can't get on the UK version of the page for some reason:

So lovely! That is the perfect little red dragon. Thank you for sharing, or else I would have completely missed it today. ^_^

He is rather adorable, isn't he? :D

Google.co.uk, for those of us in North America - it's not on the google.com page. Rather nice.\

I have to admit, it didn't even occur to me it wouldn't be on American Google! I'll add that to the initial post, too.

Beautiful and diolch for sharing, as yes, it wasn't on my Google this morning.

Yes, Happy St. David's Day to everyone! :-) I suppose that should really be Dydd Gŵyl Dewi! :-)

Now; if only Google could fix the Maps app that they severly broke with their last 'bug fix' update!!!

to people who think that learning welsh is useless... there are many reasons to learn a beautiful language like welsh, more than 5000 people speak welsh in Patagonia, Argentina. many people in Australia do it also... the welsh culture was destroyed by the big monster of colonialism or commonly called "England", i'm not welsh but i speak the language and i think is admirable how they stay strong and how they try to recover everything about their culture... as an emotive song says... "Ry'n ni yma o hyd".... sws mawr o Borth Madryn, Patagonia.

That is so lovely! Thank you for sharing, it never did come up on the American google =)
