I finished my spanish tree!!!

I just finished my Spanish tree yesterday! I am so happy I have never thought that I can achieve it:) I've been studying Spanish every day during about 6 months using Duolingo and all my tree was gold. At the beginning it was only 15 minutes a day but later I spent on duolingo sometimes 2 hours a day. Now I am addicted to it. Not everything was explained well so sometimes I had to use another sources (but I really think this is one of the best ways to start learning a new language, I really learnt a lot. Now I am going to achieve the highest level or maybe do the reverse tree. I would like to thank you Duolingo and everyone who helps me here with all my problems

¡ Saludos!

Great achievement! I am still working on my Spanish Tree. I had completed my German Tree, then they changed it. So, I have to do the new lessons in the updated German Tree. Congratulations!

Thanks. Congratulations for your German and Spanish tree. You are great . You achieved the 25 th level. I used to study German but forgot almost everything and I would like to remind myself German too:) So what do you do after reaching the highest level? (how do you improve what you have learnt?)

To master a language, it takes lots of practice. My mother tongue is French. I did all my studies in French. I learnt English at an early age but I mastered it by taking English classes, translation courses, reading many books, watching movies and television shows, and translating documents. I actually work in both languages. Right now, I am completing my University Translation Certificate (French-English). So, to learn German and Spanish, I need to redo all Duolingo lessons, read plenty of books and magazines, learn more about the grammar, watch and listen to youtube videos, practice speaking the language and do plenty of translations. Having done it with the English language, I know what needs to be done to master the German language and the Spanish one. There is plenty to do to improve what I have learnt so far. Enjoy your day

Yeah you are right. I am from Poland. I have been studying english for about 10 years and I still have to lear a lot. So I know what you mean :PWow I suppose you have to have a a very intersting job. I would like to speak fluent at least 3 foreign (spanish, english, german)languages but it is gonna take a lonnnnnnnnng time> I also watch a lot of tv serials and listen to music but so far only in english . I think it is too early to watch the spanish movies. Have a good evening

I'm from Canada where the official languages are English and French. So, speaking and writing in both languages was a definite asset when looking for a job. Yes, I have a very interesting job. Enjoy your language learning process. Have a great day

I finished my Spanish tree recently and am working towards level 25 (currently 17). I know the feeling of achieving the tree, so here's a lingot to celebrate!

Congratulations! I started Duolingo a while ago... But I have been recently working on it a lot more than I used to. I totally agree that it is addicting. I took a Spanish class for about 2 to 3 years, but then I stopped... But this has really gotten me back to the level I used to be. Again congrats! And I hope you keep working on it and getting even better...
