Translation:A blouse

Why is 'shirt' wrong?

"Shirt' is "Crys" in Welsh.

"Blouse" is "Blows" in Welsh.

They are two different words.

In English they are two different words and in Welsh they are two different words.

If you are asking what the difference between the two words is, then I would say, traditionally a blouse is thought of as a females version of a shirt.

Also it's looser. A shirt fits your torso snugly. A blouse has a lot of spare volume.

This is a word of disputed origin. It is also seen as sexist by many, as there is no need to use a different word for a woman's shirt. So you might not wish to use this word. But that does not alter the fact that blows = blouse.
