Sorry, my question was incomplete!
The phrase was: "Der Dollar ist gut". They gave no indication whatsoever, that they wanted "gut"to be translated as "high". Is this reasonable? Your comments please.
"High" is reasonably fine but not necessarily right. "Der Dollar ist gut" is a phrase commonly used in fields of fin. services or stock markets and it basiclly means that the exchange rates of whatever currency you are trading to or from dollar are "good" (your benefit/advantage).
