A question of English word order. My trans. "It was cold but now it is hot" was rejected. it was "now" that was crossed through so it is clear it was the order that was rejected. It seems to me that both places in the sentence are acceptable - merely personal preference except that the earlier placing of "now" seems to me to highlight the change somewhat rather than being entirely neutral. An unimportant point I suppose but I must admit it rankles slightly that they see fit to correct my English when there is no question but that the Welsh was understood.
