Funny Belgian (Dutch) song for the learners
This is a funny song that might be going a bit too fast for those of you just starting to learn this language, but as a native Dutch speaker, I can appreciate this one immensely.
Are there Dutch songs that you enjoy or like, and if so, what about them amuses you?
(P.S. I have no idea if this is the correct way of using 'Discussions', I mostly comment on other people's streams, so if things need to be edited or adjusted, let me know. Mostly, I just wanted to share this song. 8) )
Haha, I didn't know DeRus en Vas. XD What a weird song.
Do you guys also know Pater Moeskroen? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OV1wdDK_-A (this one's Roodkapje/Little Red Riding Hood, which I personally think is hilarious but they also have other songs that are actually quite nice.)
Ik vind 'belgie' door het goede doel(?) grappig.. En 'er is altijd lente in de ogen van een tandenassistenen'
Funny song XD Even I had to focus to understand the words, it's so fast.
I also love Pater Moeskroen. I've seen them in the theater and they are so funny.
I really enjoy most of the songs on Herman van Veen's first album, appropriately titled Herman van Veen I. Not much of it is on YouTube, but here's one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5lYbvi5tfI. I can't even tell how much of it is real Dutch words, it sounds like he might just be making random sounds for some of it. (The other stuff on that album is more comprehensible.)
Also +1 to K3. Here's another of theirs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKEciBi3BtQ
Haha XD I've had a quick listen and then checked the lyrics, but they're not actually words, no. For the most part, they're just sounds that got thrown together, hehe. The title is "Harlekijnlied" which, translated is "Harlequin song". I think that means it's just supposed to be a fun sounding song, as harlequin people are the court jesters and so on.
