Aren't 'cleaned' and 'washed' practically synonyms in English? But I put 'washed' and got it wrong.

I suppose it wants you to associate "golchi: wash, glanhau: clean".

This wording makes it sound like you were on your hands & knees scrubbing the floor with a sponge with soap & water...rather than mopping it like a normal person. At least in American English it sounds that way.

Understanding the difference in meaning between UK and US English here we do now allow 'clean' as a translation of 'golchi'.
