Hey everyone,

I took a break from Esperanto to learn German, but find Esperanto calling to me like a sweet, sweet Siren ;). I've only reached level 7, but every time I come across a page in Esperanto on the Internet I'm amazed that I can read it and understand about half.

I language goals are to become proficient in Spanish and German. After that I wanted to return to Portuguese (which won't be a big step from Spanish), but I'm thinking I may step to Esperanto in between. I'm pretty sure it will be a quick step. I'm still waiting for the hard part ;)

I love that I've never seen that word but can infer the meaning on the spot.

I never really left ;)

"Esperanto is calling to me like a sweet, sweet Siren" --- I feel this! There are days when I'm like "ok, I'm going to focus on French for now"... but after a couple of lessons and strenghtenings (especially if I found them difficult) I feel the need to go back to Esperanto which is like a balm to my fragile confidence xD

Nice post. I think Godot has the hard part of Esperanto. You can wait over there with Vladimir and Estragon.
