Is "я не можу знайти його ніде" ok to say.

Yes, of course.

But the site still thinks it is not ok.

does "я не можу його ніде знайти" sound weird, or should it be accepted as well?

It sounds well for my native's ear:)

It sounds very common for one more native Ukrainian. It must be accepted. Reported.

I'm leaving this comment on May 13, 2019. "я не можу його ніде знайти" is still not accepted, and I've reported it again.

IMO in Slavic inflected languages order of the words is almost free.

It sounds 'perfect' to my ear! :)

Duolingo doesn't currently accept "Я не можу його знайти ніде," but should it? Or does the word order sound weird in Ukrainian?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/ViGor72

Yes, it should be accepted. The word order is completely normal, "Я не можу його знайти ніде." sounds even better than "Я ніде не можу знайти його."

"Я не можу знайти його ніде" not accepted but I do not think it is really wrong
