OK, I’m curious is to how Welsh acquired that ch-sound at the beginning.
It's not so far from the Scottish pronunciation with an aspirated "wh"
The guy who coined it had a really bad head cold that day.
I'm Welsh and never called it chwisgi. Never heard anyone else call it that either.
