Hola todos!

When in a Spanish sentence, there are more than one infinite verb, how do I link them?

For example: She can try to walk. = Ella puede tratar de caminar. Ella puede intentar caminar.

I want to start eating = Quiero empezar a comer.

So, sometimes "a", sometimes "de", sometimes nothing. How do I know which one?

You have to learn the first infinitive as a compound, just as you learn nouns with their genders.
