Incubus: Esperanto horror movie.
I suppose most people know about this already, but for the newbies like me who don't: Here's the link to ''Incubus'', a horror movie all in Esperanto with a very young William Shatner (!), very rare, it was thought to be lost forever until a french version was found and restored. It has English subtitels, (messing up the image imho), and the actors did not get instruction in pronouncing Esperanto properly. It's still mojosa. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9sq4J838Ew
Fantastic! I was wondering why I missed this video, then realized that it was one of your earlier works :P
Woehahahaaa! Brilliant! Don't know the word for ''brilliant'' yet but very mojosa! I have watched a number of your videos, but hadn't seen this one.
Been saving this one for when my Esperanto is better. Don't want to be confusing myself by watching something known for it's bad pronunciation and translation errors. Also, I want to have a strong enough foundation to be able to really appreciate how bad the Esperanto is in a "so bad it's good" sense. Looking forward to eventually watching it though. :)
"really appreciate how bad the Esperanto is in a "so bad it's good" sense."
Ahh Jes, la vere de la plej bona hororaj filmetoj. " La Malbonega Morto" iu ? ^_^.
And I watched it because I thought I'd enjoy it better before I know how bad the pronunciation is! ;)
Shatner does pretty well with it, though he tends to place the stress on the last syllable. the lady playing his character's sister is by far the best speaker; she's even better than some actual Esperantists of my acquaintance. The sucubi sisters are gawdawful! I actually cringe when they speak.
