    Chleb sounds funny. I mentioned it to a handful of my friends and one of them said it sounds like a name-calling word.

    I hace trouble with b sound here. It sounds as 'hlet' to me..

    Unless you pronounce it very carefully (and in a rather artificial way), the final devoicing makes it sound more like "chlep".

    I remember when I learned about it in Phonetics class at the uni (devoicing isn't a conscious decision, it just happens); I thought it's a blasphemy. But well, I have some hypercorrectness of speech, so... :D
